I Haven’t Been Everywhere or Seen Everything, But I’m doing My Best!
I’ve been travelling the globe for many years, and I’ve purchased all kinds of things to help mark my journey. Be it t-shirts, fridge magnets, cups or basically you name it… I’ve purchased them along the way!
When I started seeing travel ring ads on Facebook and the likes, I won’t hide it, I quickly realized that it could become a nice side hustle. Having worked extensively with diode lasers for the last few years, doing Christmas Markets with customized charcuterie boards went really well… I’m now ready to move on to my next project with a newly acquired state-of-the-art fibre laser that lets me do amazing engraving at a very reasonable cost which I’m passing on to my future clients!
The main reason I decided to venture into this niche market was based on my first experience trying to purchase travel rings. I went to a site, selected my 70 countries, then the 7 continent rings and a keychain holder I needed to hold everything in place. Once the shipping fees were added on at checkout, I was looking at over $700 CAD???
— I can get a round-trip flight to Lisbon on a Tuesday for that kind of money!
And there it is, Roundabout Rings isn’t about cutting corners or skimping on quality, it’s based on collecting and adding a tangible memory at a really decent price. The rings are “hardware grade” which really brings the price down; regardless, they’re still made with Stainless Steel as well as Brass or a more rugged steel ring which will eventually weather like me ; )
The price point is all about keeping your money to spend on travel and experiences, not on rings that are simply going to dangle for your own personal benefit. Of course, it’s all up to the customer to decide if they’re purchasing something utilitarian or not. That’s my reasoning behind the actual product selection.
Of course, if for any reason you are not 100% satisfied, get in touch and we’ll make it right!
